Stitched Panorama

A little ethnographic corner represented by the fireplace, painted icons and old home appliances specific for Schei, give to the visitor an emotional image of the local traditions. You can easily feel and see the village characteristics of the medieval Schei, which mark all the villages bordering the large fortified towns. These villages have their own biographies, including the resistance against the hostilities of all kinds.

The icons are painted by local icon-painters which are famous in Transylvania, coming from Nicula, Laz (near Sebeş, Alba county), Făgăraş etc.
